Scicli is a baroque city in the Val di Noto.

It is located in the south-eastern part of Sicily, in a valley set among three hills about 25 km from Ragusa.

Named UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002, it is a must for those visiting the south east of Sicily.

For all the fans of the television series Il Commissario Montalbano will find here the most famous locations of the set.

The city boasts ancient origins, as demonstrated by the late Byzantine settlements of the Chiafura archaeological area.

It was rebuilt in baroque style following the 1693 earthquake.

Visiting Scicli means taking a dip in the past, between palaces, baroque churches and old streets, and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of its historic streets.

But that’s not all: in Scicli you can easily combine a cultural holiday with a relaxing swim in the crystal waters of its seaside resorts, located just 9 km from the center.
